DIVING BELL, Blacklist and CINEMADAL

On the morning of 16 April 2014, the ferry Sewol capsized off the coast of South Korea while carrying 476 people, mostly high school students. On that day, South Koreans watched the sinking of live on TV. People prayed for the passengers’ safe return and demanded the Korean government to rescue all of them. On the next day, the President Park Geun-hye visited the disaster site and met families of the passengers. She promised to them that the government would do their best to save all on board; this was followed by an official announcement that more than one hundred divers were already involved in the rescue operation. Koreans put their trust in this. The rescue operation never happened.
